Gastro ward has up to 2 TCI’s per day Mon-Fri for procedures, some of which will be ward based ascitic drains.

Lumbar punctures

The main day case nurses are Catherine and Angel, there are usually 2 LPs per day from Tuesday to Friday and the first patient normally arrives at 10am

  • Advanced life support (ALS)
    Contact UHCW resuscitation team if your ALS will expire prior to the end of IMT3 (valid ALS is an essential requirement for ARCP). Please book courses early as they frequently get booked up ahead of time. You can claim back expenses for attending ALS, please liaise with the medical education department.
