The clinical room was originally built as a simulated operating theatre with live pipeline gases, operating lights, scrub sink and drug prep area. Due to the increased repertoire of courses now held within the Centre, this area of significant space can be adapted to create any clinical environment. The room is a very versatile space.
With the addition of Kwik screens and the appropriate array of equipment the area can easily be transformed into a resuscitation emergency bay, labour ward, medical ward, an intensive care bed space/single ward room bed space, Ambulance area, recovery room space, GP or dental surgery or home environment. The Centre can also create a 3 bedded ward area which can be used for pre and post -operative scenarios/ ward management area.
