PEA – Paediatric Emergencies in Anaesthesia

This NEW Free course for West Midlands Deanery resident doctors in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care Medicine gives colleagues in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine the opportunity to practice and develop critical skills in management of both common and rare emergencies that happen during the conduct of paediatric anaesthesia. With state-of-the-art immersive simulation, expert faculty, and debrief tutorials, this is an excellent opportunity to be prepared for the unexpected.

This Award Winning course has been developed in collaboration with Birmingham Children's Hospital, University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, and Partners in Paediatrics, and has received accolades for improving patient safety. Partners in Paediatrics

This course addresses Key Capabilities F, G and N in the 2021 RCoA Curriculum and is fully funded, and free to attend, for West Midlands Deanery resident doctors in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care Medicine.
