The Dermatology Team at UHCW are once again delighted to announce this unique and well established training opportunity for newly appointed dermatology specialist trainees at our Surgical Training Centre.
Our centre provides comprehensive simulation of a real operating environment and delivers medical, educational and instructional teaching using plastinated cadaveric material.
The programme will include practical procedures on porcine tissue pads:
Skin marking, local anaesthesia, cutting skin, cutaneous and subcutaneous suturing, punch biopsies, curettage and cautery, shave biopsies, incisional biopsies & simple excision of skin lesions with one-to-one supervision. |
